OREGON HOME BUILDER NAMED TO TOP CORPORATE PHILANTHROPISTS LIST

Portland, Ore.—The Portland Business Journal announced that Buena Vista Custom Homes was among the top corporate philanthropists of Oregon and Southwest Washington in the publication's annual list.

Buena Vista donated over $227,000 in 2006 and was ranked in the large companies' category, which is reserved for companies above 50 million dollars in revenue. Rankings are determined by direct cash contributions from the companies to the Oregon and Southwest Washington nonprofits.

"We are thrilled to be recognized for this work. The members of our Profit Partner’s group do so many great things and we urge others to get involved and help as well." said Roger Pollock, Owner of Buena Vista Homes.

Earlier this year, Buena Vista Custom Homes announced that Roger Pollock's Profit Partners had donated its one millionth dollar since the program's inception in to the members of the charity

Pollock developed the "Profit Partner" program to make a difference and actively contribute to charities that benefit children and those recovering from addiction issues as well as the communities in which he builds. Since its inception the program has selected charities that benefit from the growth of Pollock's business. Each of the 27 Profit Partners in the Portland and Bend areas receive a monthly check from Buena Vista that is a portion of the profits of each home sold the previous month.

Buena Vista Custom Homes also donated 1,224 Pro-bono hours to charitableevents and causes.
